About Me

I am a Registered Nurse, a Certified Health Coach, and an Author

Nursing has been a great career for me. I worked in various healthcare settings and I learned so much, not only about western medicine, but also about myself. After many years of following the mainstream healthcare approach, I decided to embrace a hoslistic approach to my health, and I became a Certified Health Coach. Needless to say, my whole family had to adapt many lifestyle and mindset changes, which resulted in a better and happier life. I made it my mission to help others to improve their outcomes, and I love seeing changes they experience, no matter how small or big they are.

It took a long time to finally realize that I am not only a nurse, and a Health Coach, but also a writer. There is an unquenchable urge to create, plot and scheme. There are stories in my heart and in my head that I must share. Are they good? I don’t know. Through writing I purge my soul. I create new worlds, heroes, villains, and they live on, whether anyone likes them or not…

Writing is a craft that must be perfected. It takes time, effort, sacrifice and love. One day I will be an excellent author. For now, I just do what my heart tells me to: I plot, I twist, I rewrite, regardless of how many reviews my work gets.

My healthcare background gives me an understanding of the intricate processes that constitute what we view as one’s health or well-being. The stronger our bodies are, the better we feel. Proper nutrition, adequate sleep, and daily movement are essential in building a strong immune system and abundance of energy. The better we feel, the better we think, and, most importantly, the better we create. A healthy me equals a creative author!

I will share some of my recipies, some of my herbal remedies and ways to relax and feel great. I strive to feel better, be better, and look better. Each day I want to be  better than I was yesterday! I might share a trick or two on how to look your best at a certain age. I will also share my writing with all its triumphs and struggles. Join me to follow my quest, and if you are also on your journey to a better you, let’s do it together!

Strong Body and Mind

The building blocks of our well-being include nutrition, hydration, sleep and balanced emotions. We can regulate all of them through our habits and choices: the well balanced meals – in my case mostly plant-based – the purified water, the quality of rest, and inner harmony will affect how we look, how we feel, and how we think. I often say that healthy people make healthy choices. Once we make up our mind to give ourselves the best, we then need to act accordingly, and remain consistent. Of course, that is not always easy, there will be setbacks, however, once a mind is stretched to a new idea, it cannot go back. The new mindset focused on wellness will seek supportive behaviors. Having a friend or a partner cheering us on or even participating in our transformation helps us be successful. I will provide useful information in my blog and, if you have no support, I will cheer you on!

Faves and Gadgets

Surrounding yourself with beauty is essential to our well-being. Fresh cut flowers on the dinging room table, green plants that purify the air of your home, a soothing or stimulating scent can also enhance your mood. I use my nice china, my nice glasses, and my tablecloths every day – no need to save them for big occasions – isin’t being granted another  day on this Earth an occasion enough?

Drink your tea or coffee from a bautiful cup, take your time to have a delicious cookie or a piece of dark chocolate,  turn a song on and look at the flowers or trees outside – isin’t life beautiful?
